Ask Nudge

Ask questions about your meetings, no-shows, closers, conversations and sales, and get an answer built from your own data.

What Ask Nudge does

Ask Nudge answers questions about your workspace in plain language: how many meetings you had, why prospects didn't show up, which closers convert, which pages of your site bring meetings. Every figure in an answer is computed from your own data. Nothing is made up: when Nudge can't answer a question, it says so.

Open it from Ask Nudge in the sidebar. The screen greets you ("Hello Claire, what can I help you with?") and offers three starter questions.

You can also type a term in the search palette (⌘K) and pick the last line, "term: where do we stand?": Ask Nudge opens with your question already typed.

What you can ask

Ask Nudge knows how to answer six kinds of questions. Phrase them your own way; Nudge recognises which one you mean.

QuestionWhat the answer contains
Why these no-shows?The number and rate of no-shows, a chart of the no-show rate by how far ahead the meeting was booked (0 to 2 days, 3 to 7 days, 8 days and over), notable patterns such as meetings booked too far ahead or Monday morning slots, and the list of no-shows.
How are my closers doing? How many closers ran how many meetings, the share of meetings attended per closer, and the detail per closer (meetings, showed, sales).
How many meetings? The total for the period and what became of them: completed, no-shows, cancelled.
Which pages convert? How many meetings came from which pages of your site, and whether one page carries most of them.
How many conversations? The number of Website Agent conversations and how many ended in a meeting.
How much was signed?Revenue signed, number of sales, completed meetings and the closing rate.

Questions outside this list get I can't answer that one yet, followed by the questions Nudge can answer, as buttons.

Ask a question

Type your question

Write it in the field, for example "Why so many no-shows this quarter?", or click a starter question.

Set the scope and the period

The menu under the field shows the current scope and period, for example Entire account · This month. Change them before asking (see below).

Send

Click Ask or press ⌘ + Enter (Ctrl + Enter on Windows). While Nudge reads your meetings, conversations and contacts, the screen shows its progress. You can leave the page: the answer will be waiting in your history. Stop stops waiting on screen; the answer is still saved.

Scope and period

Period:

  • This month, compared with the whole previous month.
  • Last 3 months, compared with the 3 months before.
  • This year, compared with the previous year.
  • All time, with no comparison.

When there is a comparison, the answer says how the figure moved, for example "Up 4 points on the previous period." If your question names a period, the answer uses it and the menu follows.

Scope:

  • Entire account: all meetings of the workspace.
  • My leads: only the meetings you host as closer.
  • My team and This pipeline are listed but don't filter yet. The answer then covers the whole account and says so: "This answer covers the whole account: '…' is not a filter yet."

Read an answer

An answer is made of:

  • A status line: how many meetings, conversations and contacts were read.
  • A headline: the key figure, for example "You had 12 no-shows out of 80 meetings, or 15 %."
  • Findings: patterns worth your attention, when there are any.
  • A chart and a table with the detail. Under the no-shows table, Open these … contacts in Contacts takes you to your contacts.
  • Follow-up questions: buttons to ask a related question in one click.

When an answer is long, More of the answer scrolls down. Ask another question in the field at the bottom.

History

The History tab lists your previous questions, grouped by Today, This week and Earlier, with the scope used. Questions Nudge could not answer are marked unanswered. Click a question to open its answer again, or use Forget this question to delete it.
