Onboarding

A step-by-step reference for the Set up Nudge flow and the checklist that guides you once you reach the dashboard.

Overview

The first time you sign in, Nudge opens a setup flow called Set up Nudge (about 5 minutes). The same flow opens when you create another workspace from the workspace switcher.

The left rail groups the steps:

  • TO ACTIVATE YOUR AGENT: You, Your website, Your qualification, Your offers, Test your agent, Plan, Installation. These are required.
  • TO GO FURTHER · OPTIONAL: Your CRM, Your team. You can skip them.

Your progress is saved automatically after each step. If you close the tab, or leave to complete a payment or connect an account, you come back to the step you were on. Use Back to return to an earlier step.

Step 1: You

Tell us about you.

FieldWhat it is for
First name, Last nameShown to your team and in the briefs.
Your roleA label shown next to your name, for example "Head of Sales". It is not a permission.
Your companyCreates your workspace. Its address is shown below the field (/w/your-company) and checked as you type. If it reads That address is already taken., change the company name.
Who handles your sales meetings?Just me, 2 to 5 people, 6 to 20 people or More than 20. Pick Just me if you sell alone: briefs come straight to you and the invite step is skipped.

Nudge also uses your browser's language and time zone as the workspace defaults, and creates a first conversational form for the Website Agent.

Your company is already on Nudge

If your verified email address matches a domain a workspace has allowed, this step shows Your company is already on Nudge with a Join button. Joining puts you in your colleagues' workspace, where the leads arrive, instead of creating a second, empty one. See Workspaces.

Step 2: Your website

What is your website? Enter your address (www.example-company.com is enough) and click Scan and authorize pages.

While Nudge is reading your site, a list ticks as each part completes: Pages read, Offers found, Target customers identified, FAQ and pages indexed, Your brand's tone. The pages Nudge keeps are used by your agent. You can turn individual pages off later in AI content.

You cannot continue until the scan has finished. If Nudge cannot read the site, check the address and run it again. If it still fails, you can continue: the next step then offers generic questions.

Step 3: Your qualification

Your lead qualification. These are the questions the agent asks a visitor before offering a meeting, and what each answer is worth. Nudge drafts three or four questions from your site.

  • Edit the wording, reorder questions with Move up / Move down, remove them or Add a question.
  • Question types: Single choice, Multiple choice, Dropdown, Number, Free answer.
  • Each answer adds or removes points. A lead is qualified from 50 points out of 100, and hot from 80.
  • The screen tells you the maximum score a lead can reach. If the best answers cannot reach 50 (or 80), raise their points.
  • A Free answer is passed on to the salesperson. Add a keyword for it to count in the score.

Click Validate my qualification. You can change everything later from the form, in the Protocol tab.

Step 4: Your offers

Check what Nudge found. Your offers are how each lead gets valued.

FieldWhat to enter
Your offersOne line, as your agent will read it. For example: Starter, Pro, Enterprise.
Your pricesWhat the agent is allowed to quote. Leave it empty if the agent should not talk about prices.
Your target customersWho you sell to.
How your agent addresses visitorsFormal or Casual. This matters most in languages such as French.

Click Confirm my offers.

Step 5: Test your agent

A live preview of your widget opens. Ask it a question the way a visitor would, or click one of the suggested questions after Try:. The agent answers from your website.

If an answer is not right, click Adjust the answers to open the agent's settings. When you are happy, click Looks good.

Step 6: Plan

Choose your plan. The screen shows what the Beta plan includes. Pick a commitment, then click Start the 3-day trial. You enter your payment details on a secure checkout page and come back here. While the payment is being confirmed, you see Confirming the payment…, then Trial started.

During the trial, your agent can answer on your site for up to 50 conversations. See Free trial and plans.

Step 7: Installation

Install the agent on your site. Pick your tool: WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Google Tag Manager or Code snippet. The screen shows where to paste the snippet for that tool.

After pasting the code and publishing your site, open a page of your site and click Check:

  • Agent detected on your domain: a page of your site has loaded the widget.
  • Agent not detected yet: paste the code, open a page of your site, then check again.
  • If your site's Content Security Policy blocks the widget, the screen says so and lists the sources to allow. See Content Security Policy.

During the trial a banner reminds you that the agent is live for up to 50 conversations. Click Pay now to end the trial and move to the plan's 250 conversations a month. Click Activate my agent to continue.

Step 8: Your CRM (optional)

Connect your CRM to track sales and closed revenue from your agents. If you skip it, you have no closed-revenue tracking and no sales attributed to your agents, but the estimated pipeline and the meetings stay available. Pick No CRM or click Later. See Integrations for what is currently available.

Step 9: Your team (optional)

Invite your team. Enter an email per person and pick a role:

  • Closer: gets a brief before every meeting and approves the follow-ups to their prospects.
  • Admin: manages the agents, the shared memory and the integrations.

Click Send and finish, or Later to skip. Invitations can also be sent at any time from Settings › Team (see Account).

When the flow ends, you land on your dashboard.

The getting-started checklist

On the dashboard, the card Your 3 steps to get started lists what a new workspace still has to do outside the flow before the Website Agent books real meetings. There is no box to tick: each step checks itself.

StepDone whenWhere
Install the snippet on your siteNudge has detected at least one real visit or conversation from your site. Tests do not count.Integrations, Code snippet
Connect a calendarAt least one active member has connected a Google or Microsoft calendar. One is enough for the widget to offer slots.Integrations, Google Calendar
Customize the widgetThe widget's appearance (color, assistant name, position, corner radius or font) has been published at least once, even with the default values.Agents › Website Agent › Appearance

If your role does not allow you to do a step, the card still shows whether it is done and says Ask a workspace admin to take care of this.

When all three steps are done, the card reads You're all set and you can Hide it. A hidden card does not come back, even if a step later goes back to "to do" (for example, a calendar disconnected). The integration screens always show the live state.
