Glossary

The words used in Nudge and in this documentation, from agent to workspace.

Agents and conversations

  • Agent: A part of Nudge with one job. All agents are listed under Agents. See Agents.
  • Website Agent: The agent in the chat widget on your site. It answers visitors from your knowledge base, qualifies them and books meetings. See Website Agent.
  • Handoff Agent: Sends the closer a brief before every meeting.
  • Nurturing Agent: Follows up leads who drop off. Not included in the Beta plan.
  • Outreach Agent: Writes to visitors who come back without writing and offers them a slot. Not included in the Beta plan.
  • Widget: The chat bubble and window the Website Agent uses on your site. Its look is set in the agent's Appearance screen.
  • Snippet: The line of code you paste on your site to load the widget. See Installation.
  • Conversation: One exchange between a visitor and the Website Agent. The Beta plan includes 250 conversations a month.
  • Test mode: Conversations you run yourself to try the agent, for example in the Test your agent setup step. They do not count as real visits.
  • Ask Nudge: A chat inside the app where you ask questions about your own data (pipeline, leads, results) in plain language.
  • To validate: The list of things the agents prepared and that wait for a human decision, such as follow-ups to approve.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge base: What the Website Agent knows: the pages of your site Nudge read, plus content you add. Managed in AI content.
  • Site scan: Nudge reading your website to build the knowledge base. It runs during setup and can be run again.
  • Offers: Your products or plans, the prices the agent may quote and your target customers. Used to answer visitors and to estimate the value of each lead.
  • Shared memory: What all agents know about your company, including your offers. Admins manage it.

Leads and sales

  • Contact: A person in your workspace: a visitor who left their details, someone who booked, or someone you added or imported. See Sales.
  • Lead: A contact who showed interest, captured by an agent or a form, with a score.
  • Qualification: The three or four questions the agent asks before offering a meeting, and the points each answer is worth.
  • Lead score: A score out of 100 computed from the qualification answers and scoring rules. From 50 a lead is qualified (warm); from 80 it is hot.
  • Booking: A meeting booked with your team, by the Website Agent, a form or a booking page. Shown under Bookings.
  • Outcome: What happened in a meeting, recorded by the closer: Sale, No Sale, No Show, Reschedule, or Pending until recorded.
  • Brief: The summary the Handoff Agent sends to the closer before a meeting: who the lead is, what they asked and how they answered.
  • Pipeline: The stages your deals go through. Shown under Pipelines.
  • My day: A closer's or setter's view of their meetings and tasks for today.

Forms and scheduling

  • Form: What collects a lead's details before showing booking slots. A Conversation form is run by the agent in a chat; a Step form is a sequence of screens followed by a calendar. See Forms and scheduling.
  • Booking page: A public page where a prospect picks a slot. Its URL includes your workspace slug.
  • Collection: The area of the app listing the conversations and forms that collect leads.

Team and workspace

  • Workspace: Your organization in Nudge. Agents, contacts, bookings, integrations, members and the subscription all belong to one workspace. See Workspaces.
  • Slug: The short address of a workspace, used in app.asknudge.ai/w/your-slug and in your public URLs.
  • Auto-join by domain: A workspace setting that lets people with a confirmed email on an allowed domain join with a default role.
  • Invitation: An email inviting someone to a workspace with a given role. Valid for 7 days.
  • Admin: Manages the workspace: agents, shared memory, integrations, team and settings.
  • Manager: Manages the sales team and its results.
  • Closer: The salesperson who takes the meetings. Receives the briefs and records outcomes.
  • Setter: A team member who books or prepares meetings for the closers.

Roles and their exact permissions are described in Account.

Billing

  • Beta plan: The single paid plan during the beta. See Free trial and plans.
  • Trial: The 3-day free period that starts each subscription. The agent can answer on your site for up to 50 conversations.
  • Try Nudge: A free demo of the agent on your own website, without an account. See Try Nudge.
